Unthoughtful Strangers

Her soul is painted in dark ink
She dances in a veld full of roses, wishing that the petals would open up
She twirls in the half-light do dim lanes that her soul was caught in,
As she finds happiness in the dark side of the bargain

She is walking towards the abyss of darkness
The walls walls of the tormented tunnels were light
Pain is what gets her to start, pain is more than the tears
Pain was a resident in her soul
Her feeling is submerged.

She held the bars of the tunnel light shocking them
Shouting for help
The scent was hunting her dreams
She just couldn't hide the pain anymore
Tears became her daily bread
Her pain became a storybook

She started to twirl in the cage, because pain becomes her friend
All she Wanted was to be embraced and kept warm
But the unthoughtful Stranger just stood and watched her dance to her own pain
Whilst inside She was dying
Pain becomes her life, story and tears.
